For Giving Tuesday this year we are raising money to help keep NACHMO Boston FREE for all participants! Thanks to a grant from the Boston Arts Council, for the first time in 2023 we are running a pilot program that eliminates participation fees for all our artists. In order to make that program permanent we are asking you to lend a hand!



For any donation over $2 between now and the end of the day on Tuesday, November 29th (11:59pm EST) NACHMO Boston will receive an ADDITIONAL $10!

That means your $10 donation will be doubled!

Not able to give $10 at the moment? Your $5 donation will turn into $15!

Feeling extra generous? Turn your $90 donation into $100!



NACHMO Boston participants receive:



- A group mentoring session with two local mentors.

This year’s mentoring sessions will be groups of approximately 5 artists, allowing for more time to talk about each artist’s work! (Average cost: $45/participant)



- A one on one mentoring session with a local mentor.

This year’s one on one mentors will be from across the community and paired with artists based on what makes the most sense for their work. (Average cost: $43/participant)



- A peer mentor for the entire month of January.

Pairs choose when and how they want to work together to best support each other’s work. (Average cost: $5/participant)



- A presentation of their work.

Artists can choose between live performance or dance on film options. (Average cost: $100-$170/participant)



- Photo and Video of live performances.

(Average cost: $50-$75/participant)



All of these things add up quickly and don’t include the administrative time required to make them all happen! That averages to a cost of $275 per participant and with your help our artists will get it all for FREE!
